Léon Moussinac (1890–1964)

 

During the 1920s and 1930s, Moussinac was responsible for the cultural reporting of the French Communist Party newspaper L’Humanité and was best known for his film criticism. He also edited and wrote introductions for a number of volumes published by Albert Lévy about interiors, textiles, furniture, and other decorative arts. After World War II, he became director of the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs in Paris.
